ComicBooks for Troops, a ComicBooks for Kids! subsidiary that supplies comics to the military and to children in hospitals, will hold its annual weekend event Nov. 13-15, right after Veterans Day.

The press release follows:

Media Release – With a tip of the hat to the many of you who have already been asking us about this, we are proud to announce our annual ComicBooks for Troops weekend event November 13th through November 15th.. This event will occur on the weekend immediately following Veterans day which is Wednesday the 11th.

Many of you used the CB4K event to bring people into your store and from what we understand, it did make a difference! Again, we wanted to provide all of you with several weeks to promote, announce and generate some excitement or think about the promotions you would like to run. For brick-and-mortar stores, this may generate some early November revenue ahead of the post-Thanksgiving sales!
