Rob Liefeld’s upcoming Giant-Size Youngblood issue, featuring first appearances of new characters and variant covers by emerging artists, will be released on July 22.

Media Release – Comic book icon and Image Comics co-founder Rob Liefeld’s highly anticipated Giant-Size Youngblood issue is set to hit stores next month and promises fans exciting first appearances of multiple new characters key to the expanding Youngblood storyline. This extra-length issue will weigh in at a whopping 72 pages total and will be published by Image Comics.

New characters won’t be the only first appearances brought to readers through this thrilling new one-shot story. The Giant-Size Youngblood issue will also showcase a bevy of variant covers by emerging new talent—industry “young bloods” Beniamino Bradi, Michael Pedro, and Reese Hannigan—handpicked as standout artists by Liefeld himself via an open call for submissions.

“Giant-Size Youngblood #1 is chock full of signature moments that shape the future of the franchise! We re-introduce fan favorites The New Men, who were recently glimpsed in Youngblood #100. In Giant-Size Youngblood, the Youngblood team investigates a mysterious island and its secret inhabitants.
