The newest member of Oni's all-star Archie Comics braintrust, Winters is the writer of multiple New York Times bestselling novels, including the acclaimed Last Policeman trilogy (2012-14), Underground Airlines (2016), and Big Time (2024), among many others. In 2019, Winters joined the writing staff of FX's acclaimed Marvel television series Legion and subsequently created and showran CBS' #1 hit television series Tracker. In 2024, Winters made his comic book debut on Oni's revitalized line of EC Comics as a central writer for CRUEL UNIVERSE, which debuted to blockbuster sales and subsequently earned an Eisner Award nomination. Winters' first full-length comics project, BENJAMIN (with artist Leomacs) was subsequently published to widespread acclaim in 2025.
