A new four-issue miniseries titled “Yumi: 00EX,” created by Doug Wagner and Hoyt Silva, features an action-packed storyline about a lethal woman and her AI Lamborghini sidekick, launching in August from Image Comics.

Media Release – Fan favorite writer Doug Wagner (Narco, Plastic, I Was A Fashion School Serial Killer) teams up with rising star artist Hoyt Silva for an all-new, action-packed thrill-ride in, Yumi: 00EX. This four-issue miniseries is set to launch in August from Image Comics.



The series will also feature eye-popping variant covers by artists Mirka Andolfo (Sweet Paprika) and up-and-comer Nicoletta Baldari.

When her MI6 boyfriend disappears, Yumi storms the agency—hacking their network, dismantling their operatives, and setting everything on fire. There she finds her first ally… a fully AI Lamborghini that’s built less like a car and more like a Weapon of Mass Destruction. Yumi is in love. Yumi is lethal.

“Part The Kingsman, part K-Pop Demon Hunters, all attitude,” said Wagner in an exclusive scoop on the announcement at Popverse. “We even tossed in an AI Lamborghini sidekick that’s built like a WMD, because with Hoyt and I involved, subtlety never really had a chance."

Yumi: 00EX #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, August 12:
